Cnet not rendering porperly
Hi - I'm using Opera 10.53 in Windows 7 64-bit.Cnet does not render properly. I've used site preferences to mask/identify as firefox and internet explorer, and still no love.
Any clues?
Thanks!
Renders ok for me; checked with 10.10 on Solaris and 10.53 on Vista. It helps when reporting a problem site to include the URI and a good description of the problem or a screenshot to show the problem. http://www.cnet.com/

It sounds as if you have enabled User Mode.
From the O-menu drop down, select Page, Style, Author mode.
If you're using the default menus at the top, the style submenu is on the View menu.

You are blocking http://i.i.com.com/* whish causes Opera to ignore the CSS files.
- To solve it delete the url above from your "Blocked Content": Ctrl + F12 > Advanced > Content > Blocked Content... > Delete http://i.i.com.com/*
- Or disable the Content Blocker for the cnet website: Open http://www.cnet.com/ > F12 > Edit Site Preferences... > Content > Uncheck Enable content blocking.
I used 10.53 on my Windows installation for a month before upgrading to 10.60, and never had rendering issues... it was always blocked content or timeouts that caused the common issues.
Opera for Solaris Intel has not been updated since 10.11. Please don't drop it guys, some people welcome companions/alternatives to Gecko/WebKit-based browsers.
Also on a side-note, it's awful strange they are using Qt 3 instead of helping improve the quality of Qt 4 on Solaris.
