.....where you need to press keys until the indicator is full?
I have read the Opera Mini Faq here : http://www.opera.com/mobile/help/faq/One thing here is written :
What is the purpose of the screen where you need to press keys until the indicator is full? To protect your communication with the Opera Mini server, the client needs to create a secret key. The key needs to be long enough so that it cannot be easily guessed or predicted. The best way to ensure that the key is not predictable is to use a random key. Opera Mini generates a random key for this purpose when you randomly press keys on the keypad until the indicator is full.
I'm using Opera Mini 4.2 in my Nokia 2330c handset, it came with Opera Mini 4.1 pre-installed, after two months or so, I installed the new Opera Mini 4.2, with the 4.1 still there (it is not possible to uninstall 4.1). So I left it there.
Now my main doubt is that with either 4.1 or 4.2, I was never presented with the screen where you need to press keys until the indicator is full. May I know why?
We start collecting this data as soon as you start mini (sneaky!), so if you press some keys here and there, scroll through the EULA or navigate around the UI a bit before actually loading a page, you won't ever see the dialog.
Please do not email me directly unless requested to do so. Thanks!

As long as Mini is installed in your phone, you shouldn't have to worry about the secret key. If you reset your phone to factory settings, you start fresh,so yes, you will have to re-do the secret key when you re-install Mini. It's no big deal, though.
