Changing the user agent for Opera Mobile for Maemo

Hi, the resolution on the N900 is quite big and the device is quite powerful, so I would like to see the various pages in the original full version, not in the mobile version.

I thought about changing the user agent, but I cannot make it work properly. Changing “Spoof User Agent ID” in about:config works fine (1 = Opera, 2 = Firefox, etc.), but it always set the mobile version of those browsers, so it's useless for me.
“UA User Agent Platform” doesn't seem to do anything and I have no idea of what “UA Post Platform” is.

Anybody has an idea?

This has been a common complaint among my colleagues (we all have a N900 having worked on it), so IMHO it would make sense to just default to the non-mobile version and use the mobile version only through a setting.

i have the same problem too! i tried to change the user agent but it still bring me google or facebook in a mobile format!!!!

Edit: It's OK, I did it! I had to change the value following what user agent i wanted to use! i.e 1=Opera, 2=Firefox!
Just hit Save and reboot the Browser to take effect

But it still identifies as Firefox mobile (using 2) and Internet Explorer mobile (using 3), so some websites (like guardian.co.uk) switch to the mobile version.

This is still a big issue on all versions of Opera Mobile.
When 'Mobile View' is turned off, a user agent should be issued without the words
"mobile, mobi, symbian, phone, iphone, nokia, maemo".
