Stop automatic hyperlinking on this forum?

Is there a way to avoid the automatic hyperlink creation when writing a post in this forum?

Use the Code BB tag.

[CODE]Text here.[/ CODE]

*Delete the space between [/ and CODE]. My Opera somehow doesn't allow encasing text in multiples of one tag.

Some of them don't display in Opera Mini, though, most notably the Italic tag. smile

I know about that, but it's not really feasible when it's part of a sentence. On other forums which exhibit the same behavior, I simply substitute the colon for : but that doens't work here on the Opera forums.

Then what about trying:
1) subdomain.example.com
2) example.com
3) www.example.com

It's not pretty, but I doubt there will be anything better.
