HTML5 FileAPI or "Drag 'n Drop Support for GMail"

Drag 'n Drop Support for GMail is a really nice feature. WebKit and Firefox has it.

Specs are:
http://www.w3.org/TR/FileAPI/
https://developer.mozilla.org/en/Using_files_from_web_applications

Oh, according to Gawker Media - Lifehacker, that feature is available on Google Chrome, and also will follow on other browsers.

I can see real usability value in such a feature (in contrast to - say - css3 rounded corners wink)

Update:

However I see a possibility that that feature might not be added to Opera, since Gmail doesn't really support Opera at all.

But since some Google Employees have been using opera for a while, let's just hope that they'll include us users to have that nice Gmail feature.

I think both would be nice. (Personally, I want the FileAPI much more)

+5 on FileAPI. Let's hope Google stop being such douchés in that sense, even if Opera implements it it is likely for Google to scramble things against Opera again.

Opera can adapt to the world, but that should not be at the cost of making any of them both stupider

FileAPI is supported in 11.1. Only the drag&drop part is missing.
Using Windows 7 64Bit SP1 and of course Opera
(If nothing else stated the most current weekly) on a nice Dell Studio XPS 16!
