Opera 10.53 - Mails disappeared
Hi everybody!I Have a problem with my mail client- today, suddenly, all my mails , except mails in RECEIVED folder was disappeared ( that means ALL mails from sent, deleted, all filter's folders etc ). I try to uninstall opera and make new instalation, but I have still the same problem.
When I delete some mail from received folder- in folder deleted is ONLY this mail message!
Please help me!
I had a similar (though not totally identical) problem recently, and what solved it was right-clicking in the mail pane, selecting "Show Messages From" and then making sure that "All Accounts" was selected.
Did you create any filters? If so, maybe you used a rule that matched most messages and you checked 'mark messages as filtered".
For each view you have this problem with, click it to open its message list. Then, on the mail toolbar, click the "view button", goto "Show in" and make sure the ones you want checked are indeed checked.

hmmm ...nothing...
When I restart computer and start opera , there was some window with warning that something wrong with mailbox...but I just press OK and wasn't read...
I try to import messages , but I can only import only SOME messages....I think recent receives ones (also filtered ), but no one from folder SENT!
Also, seems strange that folder RECEIVED is absolutely complete (except filtered messages)!

Set the Mail Database Consistency Check Time to 0, save the change and restart Opera.
Is that the thing you saw before?
If you're saying that All Messages/Received shows all your messages except filtered messages, then that's expected. If you don't like that, in the received view, click on the view button on the mail toolbar, goto Show and set "Show filtered".
Also, for All Messages/Sent, do you have "Show Sent" checked? For All Messages/Trash, do you have "Show trash" checked?
(It looks like you said you tried this, but want to make sure.)

Also: right-click on each filter, goto properties and choose "Apply filter". Does that bring the filtered messages back.
I have an idea for something else you can try, but need to know:
Are you using pop or IMAP or both?
Who's the email provider (just your ISP or something more common)?
How many accounts of each?
Are you using any feeds or newsgroups?
What Operating System is this on?
What version of Opera are you using now?
