Access Opera Unite Service On My Computer From UserJS

Hi everybody. Short question: can I access an Opera Unite service running on my computer from the UserJS?

More to the point: sending data to an Opera Unite service: accessing it is easy by opening the URL, but I need to send data to an Opera Unite service.

Try to look at the source code of the UserJS manager application by D.I.Z. It works by submitting data using a form.

Your application can respond with a 204 No Content HTTP header. That way, the browser won't switch to another page. But keep in mind that you need some authentication mechanisms in place...
