Do you mean a grey circle with an arrow in it?
If so it sounds like you were using Opera Turbo. Just turn it back on.

You can still have this feature without enabling Opera Turbo: opera:config#Enable%20On%20Demand%20Plugin (or opera:config#UserPrefs|EnableOnDemandPlugin ).
<b>However</b>, I and a few others still find that <a href="http://my.opera.com/Lex1/blog/flashblock-for-opera-9">Flashblock</a> works better - but give the first one a go and see how it is for you. I use allblock-lite.js.
Note that Flashblock was updated again only last month [Apr 2010 at the time of this post], so if anyone reading this has tried it before but found it didn't completely work with 10.5x; try and check it out again. The current version is also a lot easier to install compared to previous ones which needed a custom CSS.
[Edit: Fixed my first sentence's phrasing and URI; looks like the pipe character threw highlighted fields within anchor links off - thanks Saskatchewan.]

This Protiotype's link doesn't work. It should be: opera:config#Enable On Demand Plugin - enable both of them.
