Windows menu (context) key in 10.5

The menu key in windows behaves differently in 10.50 versus 10.10 (and older), at least in the mail compose window. Previously, it would invoke the context menu based on the location of the cursor. Now it uses the mouse pointer as a reference. I find this highly annoying as it forces me to use a mouse when previously I didn't need to, e.g. for getting spelling suggestions on a word I'm typing.

Wow. That's messed up. Confirmed.
