Since I haven't got an answer on my problem in Opera Windows, I ask you...
I need software, that I had on IE but here does not...Hello:
I used to use Ms Global IME Simplified Chinese to put in Pinyin to get it in Chinese characters. Because it does not work on Opera, I have been looking for other "free" software, that has the same functions, so from romanized into Chinese characters. Since I can't find it in search, I wondered if you know such free software that works in the Opera browser.
Thank you
CB.

I actually saw your first post, guess I was bored enough to reply this time...
Some possible solutions:
1. <a href="http://www.chinese-tools.com/tools/ime.html">This</a> site, if you are even a beginner at HTML, you could probably strip that control (assuming that it works well enough, I can't really test that), and make a page with just that on it... then use it in a Web Panel... it's a "middle-man" solution, since you would have to type, copy, paste.. rather than just directly type it in to a website, but... maybe? (Edit: <a href="http://www.chinesetools.eu/tools/onlineIME/">Another</a> one that looks like it's based on the same code)
2. <a href="http://www.google.com/ime/pinyin/">This</a> from Google, since I no longer have any faith or trust in Google products, I'm not willing to test it myself. It mentioned IE6+, but I'm not sure if it only needs to use some of the DLL's, or if it only works in IE.
3. <a href="http://pinyin.sogou.com/">This</a> but it all just looks like a cartoon to me, apparently there is an IME somewhere in that mess.
4. And <a href="http://fit.coollittlethings.com/">FIT</a> but not sure about Windows or Opera support.
By the way, frustrated or not... a decently descriptive Topic title can go a long way, for both the forum as a whole, and getting the right response... someone who knows about Chinese IME's probably wouldn't bother to read this because the topic title says nothing about it when it should say something like "Looking for a Chinese IME that works with Opera" or something.
