Image Drag and Drop

This is a feature I would really like to see, I can't believe it hasn't been implemented yet. The ability to drag images from the browser to the desktop or folder. It would be a real time saver for me.

Thanks

+1 Drag and Drop is standard PC behaviour. The alternative is very long winded.

That's actually a really cool idea. And instead of dragging it to the desktop or a new window have a "drop box" built into Opera so you don't have to switch applications - just choose a location in the drop box and drag it there - never having to leave page...

And also could drop both, url's, links, button-code, html-code, things from Personal Bar etc. directly into a Document or the Desktop or any other folder.

Drag n Drop to attach attachments or download attachments has already been integrated in GMail, both Firefox and Chrome support this feature of GMail

I would like to it in Opera as well

+ 1 more!
~As a user, I would ultimately like to see more programs and features integrated into such a control scheme utilising ergonomically thought out interfaces and layouts.~

Has there been any progress in this? Every browser I know is able to do it. What's more, it already works on Linux, but not on Windows. furious
