Can I transfer my bookmarks from Windows 10.53 to Ubuntu 10.1?
I want to play with Ubuntu 10.1 and have installed Opera 10.1. Can I just copy/paste my adr file from Windows or will that cause problems? Our scientific power has outrun our spiritual power. We have guided missiles and misguided men.

or you can use Opera Link.
Thanks Tamil, I tried Opera Link and while it was easy enough to set up it seems to me that only some of the bookmarks made it across? Does it take a while to synchronize? In some cases I can only see the folders but no contents?

You can use Stu's Opera Settings Import & Export Tool, too.
It comes in Windows and Linux (GTK2) flavors and allows you to im- and export whole profiles or selected Items between the different OSs and installations. But be aware: The files will be overwritten, not merged.
