Adding notes or marks to page
I'd be great to have option to add notes and marks to pages (in edit site preferences perhaps ?). for example possibility to add note with information (that you insert) what you were doing before exiting site, or mark place where you were reading before exiting opera. simple solution for sites full of text, links and such...What do You think O users ?

Fairly sure that "Where you were reading" isn't possible... but you are aware of "Notes" right?
Select some text on the page (ie: the last sentence you were reading) and right-click, "Copy to Note", then from the "Notes" panel, you can click that note, and it will bring you back to that page.
For additional details, just edit the Note from the panel, and add any information you want. You can also create folders, to group them by site, by type, by anything you want.

i'm already using notes, and i love it... but it should have more options in my opinion. regular notes could be assigned to specific pages, and shown on status bar as a link to note you assigned. still i think 'mark where you were reading' 'd be very useful and i'd use it almost every session. why it's impossible ?

+1 There are js for this, but I think it would be great if Opera implant this internally.
Here is my poor man version of reading list , without using js:

I'd like to see an area per tab (e.g. on top of it, sizeable) where you can place notes and files in there. Maybe Combined with a sidebar on the left that works for all tabs opened in the same window. So you can make a task per window with notes per each tab. Would be great for research and such. If it's all that crash-safe saved as opera already does it, that would be great.
Especially since those days we tend to use the web even more and more. I would call it page annotations and page attachments.
And then make this to share via Unite *gg*
Okay I stop now, this is too much for a first version.

This would be awesome... anybody seen Microsoft OneNote?
Well good for research which is why i use this browser so much in the first place and it would also put Opera ahead of the competition.

~As a user, I would ultimately like to see more programs and features integrated into such a control scheme utilising ergonomically thought out interfaces and layouts.~
