Inertial/kinetic scrolling and panning

It's a really sorry state of affairs when IE is a more pleasurable browsing experience than Opera when you're using a touch screen, tablet or multitouch pad. Every browser has better touch scrolling in every way. It's actually at the point where I'm considering using something else on my laptop and I'm a *huge* Opera fan.

Please Opera, this is the year of the tablet after all and you're missing the most important trick in the game.

I agree with dertbox. Touchscreen are on the way to the market and Opera still does not support it in the way it could .

So please dear Opera Desktop Team do something in this direction wink

Yes, please make Opera's scrolling internal and customizable. At the moment, it's jerky. It should be smooth.

Lol, yeah I got that wrong. I actually read internal. And it made sense to me. Because Opera's scrolling behavior depends on your mouse setting from the Windows control panel. It should be independent from that. For example, Firefox add-on Yet Another Smooth Scrolling is independent from the Windows settings. So you can still adjust the settings in Windows for other applications, such as Open Office, for example.

This is more about using a touch screen to be able to scroll as you would on an iphone or with any of the other browsers.
