Can the wand be forced in Opera 10.10?

Hi,

I have a coupe of login websites (Postini NOSPAM) that the wand seems to totally ignore. Is there a way to force the wand to pop up to store the login info or do I have to enter user name and pw for eternity?

Thanks,

Ed

Ehhhmmmmmmmm... Are you talking about Menu O->Settings->Preferences->Forms (tab)->Enable Password Manager option?

The password manager function is enabled and the wand works in about 70% of all cases but it doesn't work on certain pages.

That's because they assign the inputs new values on the server-side each time. You'll need a UserJS to show Wand something it can handle. Or maybe they're just using the attribute that prevents saving of passwords, in which case an easier UserJS workaround should work.

Well, there's one particular page on which the wand has worked before. One or two versions before Opera 10.10. Now it doesn't.

If you don't give an example it's not likely that somebody finds out what the reason is.

I tried many times (although I don't have an account there) and I was asked each time for saving the password. When I clicked on Never remember button and then removed all entries for this site in Password manager, I was still asked to save the password.
So, no problem here (tested on Opera 10.53 and 10.10 under Windows).

Well,

The latest development is that the wand for some unknown reason fills the password but not the user name, which is an e-mail address.
