Recovering a lost Windows partition

I decided to move my Ubuntu install from the Wubi installation I made to a dedicated partition that I created on Windows AND Ubuntu. However, something went wrong, and I lost access to ALL my Windows files D:

How do I recover a lost Windows install with ALL my files still intact? Because I don't have a backup (as I never saw something like this coming) and because I had a LOT of things (over 100GB) on Windows, including some of my favorite games, and a whole lotta things for school.

Lost Reformatted... or Lost Access?

If you reformatted:
GetDataBack
1st NTFS Recovery
ADRC Recovery Tools
Couple others...

If you lost access... then, depending on why you lost access, you could be screwed if it's encrypted (via Windows, or a 3rd party app), and you no longer have the key... if it's not encrypted, but just spits dialogs at you that you don't have permission, try taking ownership of the drive again. Which you would have to do either through Windows, or a command prompt/boot disk. How that's done depends on which version of Windows.

Alternatively, since you are in Linux... what happens if you mount the windows drive/partition?

Edit: if you lost access as in, you screwed up configuring your boot loader... again, more boot disks... but if you have a corresponding install CD (2K/XP or Vista/Win7), you can use it to boot, and repair the MBR/Loader, with Fixboot/Bootrec/etc.

I didn't lose access because I reinstalled Windows just fine (This time I chose the 64-bit edition of 7 over the 32-bit edition). Thanks for showing me those tools to recover my data.

It seems as if I can't get it back by now... damn, and I had worked so hard on getting all those things on here.
