Is there a skin for older people/slightly visually impaired...

I have a lot of friends and family, who are slightly visually impaired - that is to say, not being able to distinguish between shades of colour that easily. So I was wondering whether there was an opera skin for those people in mind. In particular, the scroll bars at the side (ideally would like that to be two different colours rather than tones of the same colour), the larger icons and so forth.

If not, can anyone recommend one that would be a good starting point for me to have try altering slightly. I have already tried taking the original clean one and changing the Wand icon, so that when a password is avaliable it changes from the Wand icon to a word that says PASSWORD.

I did try searching for visually impaired and a few others, but it did not seem to yield anything.

Thanks in advance for your time smile

Shortcut Shift & F12 will get you to the Appearance menu where you can choose color schemes and change the Icon size, as well as look though the available skins.

You can use a custom CSS to change the color of scrollbars.

Preferences -> Advanced -> Content -> Style Options -> Display -> Specific file.

This file user.css will make them red/black. (Make sure "enable styling of scrollbars" is enabled in the style options.)

My Opera Glasses skin has 32 pixel icons — try that.

I just wanted to thank you for the helpful comments. I had looked at the 32 pixel icons...I was trying to implement that into the skin, and then I realised it was easier to do what noreaster suggested, Tools>appearance>Icon Size and you can zoom from there.

The user.css file though was VERY helpful, it looks much more clearer now. I have also set the zoom to 150% (its a 22" TFT, it was set to 120 which is what I normally run it at, but 150 makes it look much clearer), and using the classic skin fixed for 10.5, it is slowly coming together. If I think of anything more I will post back in this thread, but once again many thanks for your input!

Some may find my style sheet less garish than red on black. It is based on the scroll bar style of the popular D.T.A. skin with a blue scroll button and grey scrollbar. Save the text as user.css

@charset "utf-8";
body {
scrollbar-face-color: #87ACD9!important;
scrollbar-highlight-color: #90B3DE!important;
scrollbar-3dlight-color: #FF9999!important;
scrollbar-darkshadow-color: #5E7EA5!important;
scrollbar-arrow-color: #FFCCCC!important;
scrollbar-shadow-color: #FF0000!important;
scrollbar-track-color: #D6D4D2!important;
}
