10.53--problems with facebook, proboards, and opening links
I recently accepted the upgrade to 10.53 and have noticed the following problems:
1. None of the text commands on any of the Proboards sites work now. The text does not change when I click on buttons or select things from a drop-down menu. In other words, I highlight the text, click the B or try to change the color and absolutely nothing happens. The text will highlight but the commands are not put in place.
2. Any site with a facebook social plug-in (such as http://www.wowowow.com/ or http://failbook.com/ ) has trouble. The page comes up but the browser makes repeated calls to the facebook site so that the page flickers back and forth between the two.
3. If I get an email with a link in it, clicking on the link will bring up my homepage but not open a window to the page I wish to go see.
On the positive side, it's nice to be able to use Opera to see youtube again.
New weird problem--sometimes I cannot bookmark a new site. When I click on "bookmark page" it gives me a bookmark properties pop-up screen, and doesn't actually bookmark the site.
Does anyone know how to revert to Opera 10.51? I couldn't see youtube videos with it, but at least I didn't have these other weird problems.
