An issue on Insecure Third Party Module with SKCHUI.DLL
I found an error message after upgraded to Opera version: 10.53 (build number: 3374) on Window XPA third party application that is not compatible with the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) security feature has tried to attach to Opera. This application poses a security risk, so it is strongly recommended that you update it, or remove the application if no fix is available. The incompatible module was:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\INK\SKCHUI.DLL
That is AFAICT a DLL for a MS Office feature related to handwriting input devices.
AFAIK there is nothing Opera can do about that DLL, it is probably included automatically due to some Windows system configuration. You must either get an updated version from Microsoft, or somehow disable that feature in your system.

To fix this issue, go into Add/Remove Programs and click on the Microsoft Office install, and click Change
Then under Shared go to Alternate Inputs, and click the drop down next to Handwriting, and change it to Not Available. This will remove the Handwriting UI. I found it on my system, but I had no use for it as I don't use the Handwriting feature in Word or any of the Office programs.
This also removes the error message associated with that file.

There is another solution to the warning message:
"A third party application that is not compatible with the DEP (Data Execution Prevention) security feature has tried to attach to Opera. These are the steps you need to take to fix the problem using Windows XP SP3:
1. Open the "Regional and Language Options" in your Settings.
2. Select the "Languages" tab.
3. In the box marked "Text services and input languages", press the "Details" button. This will open the "Text Services and Input Languages" window.
4. In the box marked "Installed services", select each entry for "Handwriting Recognition" and delete it by pressing the "Remove" button.
5. Press the "Apply" button on the "Text Services and Input Languages" window.
6. Press the "Apply" button on the "Regional and Language Options" window.
After following these steps you will no longer get the error message when you start Opera.

Please note: If you use a different version of Windows, your windows, tabs, and buttons may look different.
The benefit of this solution is that you do not need the original Microsoft Office CD to remove the error message.
