New messages automatically gets marked read.

Any new email i receive automatically gets marked 'read'. This issue started with the past couple of beta builds. Is this a known issue? Is there a work around?

I haven't seen this. I think the only thing in Opera that can do that is a filter (spam or user-created one).

Of course, it could be a bug. But, not sure if I can test. OS? Opera version and build #? IMAP or POP? Email Provider?

Win 7, Opera 10.54 3390, POP, company email.

I haven't changed any setting or setup a new filter. It started occurring from the past two or so beta builds. It's not show breaking for me but it's slightly bit annoying.

Is "mark messages as read if already downloaded" set for the pop account?

If so, perhaps there's something messed up with the uid file in the pop3 folder which is causing Opera to think newly incoming messages have already been downloaded.
