Downloading in 10.53
I am very frequently getting a message saying "no registered application for this extension" when trying to start a download. Happens on lots of, but not all,sites.Ironically, it occurs when endeavouring to get Opera itself.Have looked in Tools/Preferences/Advanced/Downloads but that appears to be principally a list.
All useful suggestions welcome.

Open this list, find extension of file you get an error trying to download it, click Edit... button and select Show download dialog. This should help. If you encounter this problem with many types of files - you can try to clean install Opera (search forums on how to do that).
