Edit/Delete "Mail for ... " in Left Panel?

I know there's got to be a way to do it, but I can't find where.

I want to delete (or alter) the left panel text for mail accounts to get rid of the "Mail for" at the beginning of each user account.

Using 10.10, default skin.

Edit file "Opera installation directory\locale\languageCode\languageCode.lng". This is under line:
; Prefix for mailservers in serverlist in m2
-1262320482="Mail for"

In theory, the way is to edit the language file in \locale\en\ (or whatever)

; Prefix for mailservers in serverlist in m2
-1262320482="Mail for"

Replace it with ""

However, that does not work, so I don't know if its possible now.

This solution works for me fine.

Well, that's where I thought it should be but for some reason when I looked at first all I saw was the zipped file, not the .lng file.

Can that be edited with Opera open? Or do I have to close it first?

It rather should be closed (or at least restarted to see the effect). I had en-GB language file active and edited my Polish pl.lng file, so I just switched language without closing Opera.
