help with keyboarding; selecting page

I'm new to Opera, and trying to use the keyboard. When I select the address bar and enter a search term, I get an Opera bar, displayed above Google search results that says "Did you mean http:search term". (No, I did NOT mean http: search term. there's no www, no .org or .com.) Can I disable the question? If not, what is the keyboard shortcut to answer it?

Is there a keyboard shortcut to go to the first Google result?

Also, below the address bar, there is a bar that says "home index contents search glossary help …" but all the terms are grayed out and cannot be selected. What is the use of that?

I am using Opera 10.53 on a Mac with OS 10.6.3. I am using Open DNS (http://www.opendns.com/) for internet navigation.

Thanks in advance.
