File Sharing Oddity

I am in the process of rebuilding a file structure that was some how erased. It took out 40 to 45,000 songs. Right now I have the entire music collection defined in the File Sharing file_sharing property. When I open the File Sharing application I only see one folder that I am rebuilding But it should show the entire music drive. So I opened up Firefox and selected file Sharing from my Opera Unite tab on my Opera account. This is also displaying one folder that I am rebuilding. If I look at the Recent Activity I have people currently downloading music from other folders. File Share is mapped the same as the Media Player but not displaying the same file structures.

This is bazaar... I am new on Windows 7 so I am not sure if that is causing the problem. Any one have any ideas?

I did just notice in Windows explorer that all folders are not highlited like the one Opera can display in File Share application. Music folders.png. So maybe its Windows 7.

I am running Opera v10.54 Build 3390 on Windows 7 Enterprise

Sorry I found that I had the Hidden attribute specified for all folders except for the one I could see...

Thanks in Advance...

Sorry to hear about the loss of all your music. Hope you get it back.
This may or may not be related to your problem. I notice that when I go to your media player page, many of the captions are no longer
in recognizable text. Instead I get a series of little squares containing letters and numbers. When I visited your page in the past, I believe those
captions were in German.
Also....Under "Music By Year", you had directories going up into the 2000s. Now it only goes to 1910.
I assume you are still rebuilding this?
Good luck getting it all back.
George.

Thanks for your good wishes. I am trying to rebuild. I have up to the 1940's but have not put on line yet. This time I start in the year 1889.

Yes, different languages comes and goes with different builds. If it is unrecognizable it is because it is a different font/char set. It has happen more than once to other people in this Unite forum. I can not wast time on it. I am sure the support people have an Idea but just not passing that information along to us testers. I mean it is there product.
Thanks in Advance...

I reported this as a unite bug a while back , it usually can be corrected by adding of removing a file to get Unite to generate a new page. sometimes maybe it works whistle

Well if any one is interested I restored my lost file folder. I have the following info in my blog:

"My Music - Singles By Year" folder has been restored

Yes, I have finally restored the "My Music - Singles By Year" folder. This holds around 40,000 songs beginning in the year 1910 and currently ends in 2010. Yes, a Hundred years worth of songs. I have also added two more decades: 1880 and 1890. Naturally some of the quality is bad but then you have to be a music lover and\or historian of sorts to enjoy.

I will also be upgrading the decades starting with 1910 and go to the end of the 1969. So if you are using downloading playlists, to play without having to come to my Unite website, just keep in mind you may want to refresh them with new ones.

BTW - Here is a direct link if interested!
Thanks in Advance...
