Ya, I' m having this problem too on my KP570(KP500 is same cellphone, but brazil and some other countries it's called KP570)
I?m also having this problem with my LG KP570q. Actually, I've downloaded and testes almost every release since beta of Mini5 and th problem of the missing right section of the screen when switching to horizontal view is still there. And yes, the application is unusable once that section of the screen is not functional (it only shows the frozen image of part of the screen that was before switching to horizontal), and so you have to shut it off manually. I truly hope the developers get into this
KP500/570 have this problem and I don't know why, it show a virtual keyboard wth arrows. It useless in this phone and maybe Opera should remove it in a next release.
The Opera Mini team are aware of these issues on certain LG devices and are working on a solution. Keep your eyes out for a new client update, and thanks for your patience

Please do not email me directly unless requested to do so. Thanks!

It is not possible to completely remove the status bar and other overlays on the LG KP500 - a bug in the JVM makes is so that pointer events in those areas are never passed to Opera Mini even if you manage to hide the overlays. LG has fixed this bug in the firmware of later touch models.
