DynDNS, error:crossdomainerror, loopback connection
I use DynDNS and have a small computer at home to test and play with code. I can access the address of my website just fine on other browsers, but when i tried in Opera i got an error:crossdomainerror page with 2 links, one link said continue and the other said always continue no matter which one i click i end up in the same error:crossdomainerror page.Is there a way i can configure it to bypass that security check for internal network addresses? Or should i use userJS to change the top location to localhost? Any ideas how?
Thanks in advance.
Are you saying that you use the dyndns address at home on a LAN with private adresses. That is exactly what you get. The traffic is routed out of your private network and back throgh NAT.
If you have a DNS server on the private LAN, add the dyndns host with the private ip address. External users will get the public ip address and local user will ask the local dns which will give the private ip address. Problem solved.
