Problem with toolbar with 10.53

Since accepting an update to Opera 10.53 I am plagued by the address bar and adjoining forward/back refresh and Home icons jumping about.

It's caused by some new feature that replaces the address bar temporarily and instead displays pointless data about speed of connection and what it's connecting to.

The result of this jumping about is that I occasionally (no, frequently) click the wrong back or forward button with unpredictable results.

Anyone know how to turn this new nonsense off.

I've even downgraded to Opera 10.51 and the issue is still there.

Try playing around with the position of Appearance - Toolbars - Progress Bar.

Thanks, seems to have solved it. Only remaining question is why the update turned on progress bar by default when it's clearly counterproductive.

Well, for most people it doesn't do that... was probably either a problem during/with upgrade, you are using a skin that has problems with the Progressbar elements, or you had previously customized the progressbar location to a non-standard position.

None of the above. But thanks.
