Aight man, hit me up when you do.

The online play is awesome on MWF2, I think you'll like it.

I have the game (but I rarely play It, fps isn’t really my thing) I played online once…it sucked, way too much teenage angst and it kept crashing
I might consider re-installing it.
I just don’t know if the PC version is online on the same server as the PS3. Are they Interconnected?

No, I don't think they are interconnected. The Xbox 360 can't play on the same servers as PS3 servers, so I assume the same goes for PC.

Yeah, I was about to post that. Thanks for doing my work for me.

(I've always wondered why people would pay for 360 online when the Playstation Network is free?)

Some say you get what you pay for. Others say LIVE is more awesome while the people I didn't mention say that their friends are already on LIVE. Heh, until they have to renew their subscription.

My parents don't give me an allowance, hence they buy everything for me. I'm pretty sure they won't like me bugging them for some online gaming service.

My parents don't give me an allowance or buy me everything. I saved up for an Xbox 360 for the longest time, and about 5 months after I bought it, I got the RROD. I never bought the warranty because I didn't have the money at the time. I tried fixing it myself (I'm good at fixing hardware issues on computers, and I figured I could mod it and sell it on eBay so I don't have to deal with Xbox BS anymore), that thing was impossible to fix. I tried every single thing to fix it. Nothing worked.
The Xbox 360 is a rip off.
- Expensive and incredibly fragile system
- Expensive and terrible online subscription with no internet browser
The PS3 may not have as many people online, but it's a lot more cost effective. And it has free internet, an internet browser, and it has downloadable programs from Linux Builds to Folding@Home. Might not have as many games as the 360, but it has some pretty good exclusives.
I prefer PC gaming though.
You can do everything for free, and you don't have to buy new systems every few years. You just have to keep up with the newest gaming hardware.

Very true! I’m a PC gamer and I’m sick of gaming companies completely dumping us in favor of the more lucrative gaming consoles market.
I remember years ago, there were a huge number of PC games. Now we’re lucky if someone decides to make a port just to humor us
Besides, I can do everything on my PC including play Wii,PS1,PS2,Old NES and arcade games.
And I can still use my computer for everything else, including work and entertainment
I guess you haven’t heard the news; Sony’s last firmware update last month removed the ability for installing Linux on the PS3.
Btw, I had no idea that you have to pay extra for a warranty with the Xbox360 (AND pay extra to play online???) dude, what a rip-off.

Yes, very true. I had to install an update about 3 weeks ago to keep on playing on the PS Network.

Sure. I may have enough $$$ to buy that. (I've made it to level 61 so far on MWF2.)

anyhow, these past few days I've been having great fun playing Borderlands. You guys should try it out, It's really fun, especially the co-op. It's kind of like a cross between an RPG and an FPS. Most of all I love the design of the thing, It has a neat pencil shading effect on everything that gives it a comic-book like feel.
And you won't believe the huge amount of weapons in this game. I swear I've collected like a million guns by now.

Prestige?

I don't know very much about Treyarch, but I've heard that World at War was a "terrible" game and that only a few people actually play online, and Black Ops is made by Treyarch so hmm...

A lot of my favorite commentators play that. Will check it out.

I'm also leaning very very heavily on getting Bad Company 2 after playing it at my friends.

Knowing EA as a company though, they can sure piss of a lot of people and produce really horrid game value.
