Opera Link to synchronize passwords

It would be nice if Opera Link had the option to sync passwords a la Mozilla Weave. Is this something we can expect?

It may be unsafe. Because of that, Opera Link doesn't provide it.

I concur. I recently installed Ubuntu and have since made it my primary operating system. I downloaded Opera, of course, and synchronised all my settings which is super convenient. The only thing I had to do all over again is set up my passwords. It would be nice if passwords could be synchronised as well.

I concur, this feature is needed to keep Opera competitive with other browsers.

sure would be a nice feature.

and for the people concerned over security... remember that it's optional if you want to sync passwords. don't do it if you aren't comfortable.

It should be acceptable to allow this under one restriction: a master password MUST be used on every linked Opera that may use this feature and the master password is disabled to synchronise. star

scared Security is important, but it is no reason for preventing a feature. Passwords may not be transferred without encryption and even with a secure protocol is needed.
up Under these restrictions it should be possible an I would agree even linking passwords of websites and email-accounts. spock

Mention, there is almost the same discussion in other parts of the forum!

Wanna get some feedback! . . . bye
