[Solved] How to prevent the downloads tab from opening

Hi all,
I would like to know if there's any way I can prevent the "Downloads" tab from opening each time I download something. I'm using a wide screen and the panels are always on. The notifications for finished downloads are also on and there's a small button that appears on the title icon of the Downloads panel when a download has finished and that panel has not been activated.

I mean, there are several ways to know that a download is complete. The "Downloads" tab opening for every single download is just not necessary.

I haven't found any options in the preferences. And I didn't find any answers on this forum either.
Thanks.

Open the download Tab. You should see a View button, click on that and select "Never show when starting download"
