Show all E-Mails in Opera
Before when I went on Messages-RECEIVED I did see alls my Emails that I received. Now I only see one and not even the last one !
The same thing happens with Messages-SENT. This time the last one appears but I can not get the list with all my SENT messages.
I don't know why the change appeared ? Did opera reconfigured my mail account and make the change by it self ? Is it the last version of opera that make the change ?
Anyway, it is really helpful to see the list off all your mails in the different categories like SENT and RECEIVED.
So can somebody tell my how I can get that view back ?
Thanks fore your help,
Ecaille.
Right-click in the mail panel and set "Show messages from" to "All accounts". Then, for each access point/view's message list, click the view button on the mail toolbar, goto "Show" and set "Show foo" for everything you want to see in that access point.
I did check All accounts and "Show foo" for everything I want to see in that access point.
I did not have to change that, the setting was right.
So I have the right mails in the right access point like RECEIVED and SENT.
But when I click on RECEIVED or SENT i only see one mail. I would like to have a small icon for every mail that is in RECEIVED and SENT. So that I can brows up and down the list and see witch mails I received or did sent and when.
So I still need somebody's help.

Not sure why All Messages/Sent and All Messges/Received are only showing one message instead of all.
Did this happen after you restarted your computer? If so, Opera was probably still shutting down as the computer restarted.
Or, did this happen after Opera crashed or after you killed Opera because it froze?
In both of those cases, it could have disrupted Opera's writing to the mail files.
You could, set the Mail Database Consistency Check Time to 0, save the change and restart Opera to see if it helps. It probably won't though.
You could, close down Opera, delete the cache, opcache, and temporary_downloads folders. Also, delete the ini files in the menu and toolbar folders in your preference folder to reset all your customizations to rule out something being messed up with them. See "Help -> About Opera" for the locations.
Did you create any filters?
Have you messed with the spam filter properties at all?

A lot of questions.
I will try to answer them briefly :
- Did this happen after you restarted your computer?
I don't think that this was the problem. I would say no, but you never can be sure.
- Did this happen after Opera crashed or after you killed Opera because it froze?
No.
- Did you create any filters?
No.
- Have you messed with the spam filter properties at all?
I have put some mails in spam and did tell opera to ignore them, but I don't think it has anything to do with that.
The mails are still at the right place. But if I want to see the next mail I have to right-click on the mail and say go-to-next-mail or previous-mail. I can not get the mail list with the small icons for each mail.
What I could do is to erase Opera, to deinstall all of it.
And then Install it again. It will take some time and I will not download all the old mails again, because there are too many and there is no real point of doing it.
If there is no other solution I guess that I should do that.
(The solution you point out, to erase some part of opera seams much harder and we will not be sure that in the end it will help.)
Sometimes Opera opens more then one tab when you create or read mails. So maybe the tab with the mail list does not appear anymore for one reason or another.
Well I will live this forum for some days, maybe a week, and if I don't get the solution I will reinstall Opera and reconfigure my mail accounts, that should solve the problem.

Click the view button on the mail toolbar, goto display and set "list and message below". Or, press 'i' to toggle through the different message views.
Is that what you're talking about? I thought you were saying there was only one message in the message list. But, I now think you're saying you have the message display set incorrectly.
Yes it was a display setup problem.
I had selected "List-and-Message-Below", but the list stopped showing up, stopped appearing.
Now I did select "List-and-Message-on-the-Right", and I have the list on the left, and the message on the right. Witch is great, perfect, for me.
So the list is back and the problem solved in the end.
Thanks a lot for your help, time and effort you did spend on, helping, solving, the problem.
Hope to see you around,
And THANK YOU,
Ecaille
