Automatic language recognition of Opera's spelling checker
Hello there,I'd really appreciate if Opera's integrated spelling checker would automatically recognize which language I am writing in so that one does not constantly have to change the spell checker's language when writing a text.
E.g., if you are using Facebook a lot to communicate to your friends, especially if they are international and you are able to speak lots of languages, you are constantly right-clicking on the text fields and changing the spelling checker's dictionaries because that's the only way you can make use of the feature.
I'd be grateful if this annoyance would be gone and I am certain that this feature would save time as well as effort for a lot of people.
Thank you very much in advance.
Best wishes,
B-Ball

The Spell checker, with all its greatness, is NOT user-friendly.

...or ability to check several languages simultaneously (two at least)... IMHO, most people write no more than two languages - English plus their native language... I, myself, can often use two languages in one text field and would appreciate the ability to check both of them...

From my point of view, that's a very nonfactual statement. E.g., I always talk three languages at the same time every day and I know lots of other people who talk more than two languages each day as well. The world has become more international...

That sounds like a good idea and would push Opera even further ahead of the likes of Firefox and Chrome with regard to spell checking. What I really want, though, is to be able to remove English (US) from my installed dictionaries. I never use it. It's a good idea that Opera comes with a dictionary already installed but users should be able to remove it if they so please.
Really, I find the whole not-detecting-several-languages a big miss on Opera's part because obviously they them self write in English and many other languages (being that Opera's offices are multi-national in their core). It's a real shame and a very basic feature for users, IMO.
There is nothing worse than that darn dotted red line!
