Select Element in HTML
Howdy,I am working on a website and noticed that when a select element in HTML (<select>) has focus all of the other major browsers I tested (Firefox, Chrome, Safari, IE) will take input from the keyboard and search the choices in the select box, but Opera will not. Does anyone know if Opera is planning to put this feature in a future release?
Thanks,
Adam
P.S. Please tell me if this post belongs somewhere else. I'm new to the forums.

As good of a place as any I guess...
But, I've never had that problem... if I type a letter, it will select the first option that starts with that letter, and Up/Down/Home/End/PgUp/PgDn all work as expected... such as the two <a href="http://76.11.58.186/QuickEdit.htm?edits=">here</a> (not meant to be shameless self-promotion, but quickest example)
Edit: Another example would be the "Language", and "Forum Jump" boxes at the bottom of this page... works fine too, and doesn't have any special coding or anything.

Although unlikely since you seem to be using 10.53 (which has been out for awhile)... maybe it was a different snapshot/build... where the problem did exist?
Could still be a rare bug, such as opening/closing Dragonfly, a UserJS, or maybe a keystroke, or macro was affecting it.
