activating mail tab
I have mail panel always open and when I click on a feed (or 'unread' etc.) the mail tab is opened and activated. Now if I leave the mail tab open in the background (i.e. another tab is active) and then close Opera, the next time I start it and the tabs are restored, the mail tab won't activate from clicking on the mail panel, but stays in the background. To get it active you have to click on the actual tab.
Opera 10.53, Win7 64bit.

This seems to work fine for me on WinXP. When I start back up and all my tabs (including a feed tab in the background) are restored, clicking the access point in the mail panel for that particular feed does indeed bring focus to that feed tab.
Either it's something specific to your OS or profile. Or, there's some extra detail needed to trigger it.

I think you can activate the current tab with F9? Not a solution, but maybe a good enough workaround.
