Java Update for Mac today disabled Opera on my computer.
I re-downloaded Opera browser, re-installed, restarted the computer and continue to get the error "Opera quit unexpectedly".Is this happening to any other Mac users after today's Java update?
Version of Opera would help us to help you. Version of Java would help also. Intel or PPC Mac, eh? Little help, how about it?
Opera seems to have dumped, AND DID NOT TELL ANYONE EXCEPT BETA USERS, Java in 10.53. (yea, yea, I know "they are working on it" I am being sarcastic).
They also disabled cookies. There is a new JS checkbox that is set by default, that you may not want set. I didn't, but they don't care.
Once again I had to post using Safari, as Opera won't let me login to ANY site.

Hi! Well I am using a Intel Mac and had just installed the newest version (10.53 Non-Beta) of the Opera Browser about a week before.
Yesterday there was a Java update for Mac through Software Update. After it was done, I could not open Opera, I received an "Opera Quit Unexpectedly" notice.
The Java version is 1.6.0_20 from Apple Inc.
To date I have tried uninstalling Opera completely from my computer, re-installing and restarting the computer with the same "Opera Quit Unexpectedly" notice everytime I try to start Opera up.
I downloaded an older version of Opera as well and received the same error.
I'm really now sure how to fix this ;-( It seems I'm alone however as I can't find anyone with the same issue around the net.
