Opera settings / data import wizard and clean uninstall option.
Please do this, I'm tired of deleting the bookmarks that are automatically imported from IE when you open a new Opera profile for the first time (e.g. after a clean install) and having to delete Opera directories manually when I want to perform a clean install!Firefox already allow us to make these choices...
Settings / data import wizard

Clean uninstall option
also big +1 on possibility to remove personal data on uninstall.

why don't you want the import wizard?? it's not mandatory, you can simply select "Don't import anything", press finish and be happy...

Now if it only stopped automatic importing data from IE...

Indeed. It might help with the "I reinstalled Opera, but it didn't help" + "Did you delete your profile too?" situation too.

personally -1 to the mandatory import wizard like in firefox (it annoys me) but +1 to the general idea of an easier/more visible import (maybe the start page should contain a section with "How do I import my data" and a text like "click here to run the import wizard or use [menu entry] for more options".
Same here. The import wizard is annoying and Opera has stressed very strongly that they don't want to ask the user these things on startup like that. The start page stuff sounds like a good idea.

I think they're automatically imported from the default browser (which may be another Opera or IE etc.). I think it's annoying too. But, Opera likes to implement solutions that work by default, are automatic and are not a problem for average users. I think your best chance would be to ask for a command-line option in the installer to not automatically import bookmarks.

It depends on your point of view, some users might have a false perception that they've got the bookmarks in Opera because it shares bookmarks / is synchronized with their other browser and that would be confusing at first.Opera likes to implement solutions that work by default, are automatic and are not a problem for average users.

That's something entirely different, big +1 to that one, but please, no wizardI just want Opera to stop automatic importing of bookmarks from the current default browsers on the first time it runs.
