Keyboard input not available on local site (router) on Linux with Opera 9.54 (6336)
On local sites such as http://192.168.0.1/ I am unable to type in the text boxes shown below on Linux with Opera 9.54 (6336).Screenshot.png
With white backgrounds, text input boxes do not have a defined border and it is difficult to discern where it begins and ends. This is a screen shot of the search engine form on speed dial with the background disabled.

Can anyone confirm please?

That's 10.54 of course ...
What dialog toolkit are you using? Which distro and version? Buttons and form fields will look different depending on which toolkit is being used, when on the "automatic" setting they look completely different on KDE4 versus XFCE (that is, versus GTK) ...
Looks like one of those mac-like desktop styles, maybe Bespin for KDE4?

Sorry, I meant 10.54.
I am on Linux MInt 9 (Ubuntu 10.04) with the Mac4Lin user interface. Is there a way I can configure Opera to use a native look for form fields and buttons?
The issue with the local sites and inability to type in the username, password boxes is independent of this I presume.
