'inspect element' has created bar at bottom of page.

hi there.

i just right-clicked on an image and then clicked inspect element, now i have a bar running along the bottom of each page. as you can tell, i have no idea what 'inspect element' actually does, that'll teach me.

how can i get rid of this thing at the bottom of the screen? thank you.

You should be able to drag this bar up to the extent that a close button appears (or a close button should probably be accessible on the right regardless).

Unless I'm missing something if you try to "inspect element" and it crashes (ie. Connection closed by remote server because https://dragonfly.opera.com/app/ currently isn't working) the "X" does not appear. Now I can't get rid of this damn window and it is very frustrating.

The default shortcut to toggle the "Developers Tools" is Ctrl Shift I. Change it in Preferences, Shortcuts.

Download my customised Unite Menu, save it in your \profile\menu\ folder, and select it in Preferences, Toolbars to get a menu without "Inspect Element" on every other menu.

It removes some other "clutter" too, while adding some other items that I find more useful. Although it may not suit your particular needs it may give you some ideas on customising your own menus.
