Expand Opera Link

I use Opera Link a lot and especially its bookmark syncing feature, I would like to see it grow in the following ways:

1. Integrate with OpenID. Filling out a form to access a small site (compared to Google, Yahoo etc.) is cumbersome for the new user. Instead why not use a user's existing accounts on Google, Facebook or Yahoo??Plus people will have to remember one less password.

2. Make an opt in option to EXPLICITLY make bookmarks public. That way when I log in to My Opera I can see trending topics. Whatever most people bookmarks must be trendy right now right? In effect make it something like other social bookmarking sites, only this can sync with your browser and build on the social aspect. Opera could have a cash cow right there.

3. Do what Xmarks does. Suppose someone bookmarks a site, like www.twitter.com. People could tag it and write reviews on it, and give it a 5 star or 4 star ranking. Then when others go to the site, they could tap into this repository of reviews, write their own reviews, find other sites by the same taggings. In short it could do what Xmarks does.

4.Notes could be shared as well. Notes about websites and different products.


How about it ? A combination of social bookmarking and Xmarks
