Save a webpage

Hi !
I sometimes use Opera on my computer, and always on my iPod touch. I recently discovered on Opera Mini, the feature that allows you to save a web page in order to read it later (even without internet connection).

I was wondering if such a feature is available un the Desktop version of Opera ?

You see, I usually use Firefox and all his Add-Ons, like ScrapBook. ScrapBook allows you to do that (save pages, and organise them in a menu with folders, you can even anotate the pages and highlight some sentences). It's a really good add-on.

It would be amazing if that mobile feature was available in the desktop version. (If I still use Firefox, it's because of his wonderful add-ons, nothing else :-\)

Thanks a lot for anyone that can help me smile

(and sorry for my English, I am not English…)

yeah, I know that, but you can't anotate the pages and re-organize them in a bookmark-like-menu.

What I want is something like ScrapBook, in firefox : https://addons.mozilla.org/fr/firefox/addon/427/

Something like this already exists in Opera Mini. Why not in the Desktop Opera ?

Opera is a wonderfull browser but, even if it does email, bittorrent, opera-Unite, bookmarks syncking and Turbo, it has no "add-ons" or Some very simple features. I think that's what is missing to it.

i wrote about it over a year ago. I would be satisfied with extending the bookmarks functionality with an option to store the page to disk and manage it from bookmarks panel.

Well it would be probably possible to write a unite app with that functionality.

Well, that is exactly what I mean !

I really hope this functionality being integrated in Opera one day…
