One of the (apparently) most hated directors of our time, but are his movies really any worse than other dime a dozen movies in the same genre? I think they're reasonable enough compared to other movies one might see on Sci-FiSyfy.

Most of the scifi channel trash doesn't even qualify as b-movie

I'll take that trash over most other trash.

Uwe Boll is the worst director/producer, referring to the movie business. IMO

It's very rare for me to not have anything better to do than watching TV

I'm speaking hypothetically seeing how I don't have TV. I mostly watch such things that might traditionally appear on TV while doing things like cutting vegetables.

I see almost everything that occurs right through the TV screen, but not CNN (liars) .. after drugs, that is the biggest business, I think

If it was just me we wouldn't have one either, on the other hand comcast doesn't let you just get internet over cable without tv and they practically own this area. The alternative is dialup or satellite which both suck to about the same extent for different reasons.

True, but I've used Concast for some time now and no complaints about them

Comcast is better than Telenet which dominates cable around here.

Note that my wife's 24 inch monitor doubles as output for the DVD player and the Wii when I say we have no TV.

I wonder if anyone outside Germany remembers ( or ever heard of ) the Barschel affair at all.

I vaguely recall that being referred to sometime in the mid-'90s for some reason, but I can honestly say I haven't thought about it for the past 15 years.
