Something is fishy with Reuse current tab
With Reuse current tab *Unchecked*, on some pages links will open in a new tab (news.google.com) and on some (most) pages links reuse the same tab (news.yahoo.com) in spite of the Preferences setting. Why some pages and not others?

Followup: make it links on all pages reuse the same tab in spite of the setting being unchecked. The google page opened a new tab because I had an option in google settings to do that. So how do I get 10.53 to stop reusing the same tab? I get the same behavior on 10.10 BTW.
