Select area with left mouse, selecting text but not images

I have googled and searched here but haven't struck luck.

Running 10.10 on Linux here, when I select an area of text with images in it with the mouse, the images are not selected along. I would like to have the image(s) selected right along with everything, so I can paste everything somewhere else. Firefox can do this, but I like Opera better.. how can I make it work?

Opera is not capable of copying html/rtf content - text only. That's one it's biggest weaknesses - forcing me constantly to reopen pages in FF or IE. There are workarounds (search for html copy) - but they're not satisfactory, at least for me.

Waiting for a moment when developers will finally decide to fix that.

Running 10.60 now.. unfortunately this issue isn't fixed. Thanks for the button code but that won't work for me either.
