Sick and tired of...

I am sick and tired of writing text for Twitter or Facebook or some other forum, only to find when I press send or post that my text disappears and I am back to the blank page I started with.

Why does this keep happening? I don't expect to write something out four or five times before it posts.

It has just happened trying to post this. This is the third time trying to post this question.

The best you can do is copy text before submitting.
Opera Mini 5.1 and Opera Mobile 10 on Nokia 5230 Series 60 5th Edition.
Opera 10.63 on Windows 7 Ultimate.

Yes, copy your text before submitting--it's very frustrating.

Even more frustrating for for BB users...with the newer OS releases (OS 5.0.0.6xx) we can't even use OM any more. OM 4.2 doesn't work properly because it no longer recognizes the BB and OM 5 is impossible to navigate due to the super-sensitive, uncontrolled cursor movement. I have to use the BB browser (ugh) and BOLT (sigh) now. I don't even have OM installed any more.

But I keep coming back here...hoping... :-/

I'm not sure if there's a Blackberry version of UCWEB, but for a lightweight, proxy-based browser I now prefer UCWEB version 7.0 for WinMo, and find it 100% reliable. As for Blackberry, I've never used one, so I'm totally unfamiiar with it.

For my full (and default) browser I use Opera Mobile 10. At the moment this is being posted through OM 10, and I can expect to submit it with no problems whatsoever.

i don't understand why opera software hasn't made any comment on this as it is a serious bug! Whats the point of a web browser if you can't enter text into forms?

I'd rather have them work on fixing the problem than waste time trying to post comments.

This is probably related to the double posting issue with Opera Mini 4 and I'm sure its a serious bug which is why its taking so long to be fixed.
