I believe people fear what they do not understand. But the Bible says, God has not given us the spirit of fear. I believe He wants us to have the spirit that says "I can do all things through Christ." We are able to pray about those things we donot fully understand, and to seek the understanding. Jesus had compassion, and so should those of us who profess to be His followers. Once we begin to pray for someone, it will be nearly impossible to dislike that person. We will begin to have a love in Christ for that person.

i have (by law) two serious mental illness, and one that is not as serious but can get that way. and now they are thinking that they may have found something else that could be there, but i have to have a c.a.t. scan to see if there is something else that could be there. they are trying to rule out eveything else first before they diagnose me.

It's probably an American thing that mental illness is perceived as connected to grim crimes more than it should. Here where I live, it is associated with mental institutions, though such people increasingly are not committed anywhere anymore.
