a new feature for bookmark
hi there,most of the time, when i bookmark pages, what i see is that most of the time, i regroup my bookmarks by their domain name.
for example, i got a bookmark section dedicated for a website, in which i put all links i find interesting to keep.
so the idea would be to add a system of bookmark allowing people to tick a box which will allow them to bookmark a page, which would automatically be placed in the right bookmark section.
you could also add group of domain name recognition to a bookmark section, so if people browse 2 websites dealing with the same thing (cars for example), they could auto-bookmark pages in the right place, without having to choose every time the right place to put the address in.
last stuff would be the ability to class bookmark by domain name, but also by web-page prefix.
what i mean here is that for example, you could choose for a bookmark section, a web-page prefix like : www.cars.com/sportscars
then all pages beginning by this would be placed in the bookmark section.
to sum up the feature i am talking about:
-ability to automatically add a bookmark in a bookmark section according to its domain name (or according to prefix of any web pages).
-ability to put multiple domain name for bookmark section, so if people make section about just a subject where bookmarks could be from 2 or more website, the automatic bookmark would still work.
-ability to manually select a bookmark section in case people got an address to bookmark which would not be in the right place using the automatic bookmarking placing feature.
what you all think about that?
i know my English is not very good, but i try to submit a new bookmarking system i find it could be useful.
let me know if you want some more idea about that.

A filtering system like in the mail client could do that. It would help managing bookmarks a lot IMHO.
I don't use folders in my bookmarks any more because they trend to be bogus after a certain amount of bookmarks but instead edit the page descriptions, fill them with useful keywords and use the search.

yes i know how to sort wepages adress per bookmark folder, but the idea here is to put a feature that will automatically put the bookmarked website adress in the right folder, using its domain name, or URL prefix chosen by user.
