Bookmarks keep getting disorganized

I'm using the Opera Link sync feature for bookmarks, I don't know if that has anything to do with this. A couple of times in the past, seemingly random bookmarks from somewhere in the folder hierarchy have turn up at the root level. It has always only been a few of them, so no big deal, I can usually put them back where they should be.

But tonight, 40-50 bookmarks and subfolders have turned up at the root level.

This is going to be a nightmare to re-organize, since for many bookmarks, the folder in which it resided carried important information about the bookmark itself (such as, I keep a log of movies I've seen by adding IMDB links in a "year seen" folder. when such a bookmark gets moved to the root level, I can't know which year I saw that movie and can't move it back to it's correct folder).

I suspect perhaps this has to do with the Opera Link feature. I think I'll just turn it off if it causes more problems than it solves.

Have you changed the sort order from "My order" to "By name"?

I have had the exact same thing happen a few times.
Bookmarks are moved out of folders and dumped in root.

It has nothing to do with sorting either.
But does seem to be related to opera link, so far only happened with it on, and was especially bad when i had two computers with opera open.

At one time after i manually fixed it bookmarks again got messed up in exactly same way. Odd stuff.
