Signature image

Hello everyone,
i've searched everywhere for a solution to implement an image (my company logo, actually) to my email signature.
I've used this feature alot in Outlook but in Opera I could never use it. Even if i put the image url path or by adding it through HTML, the image never shows.

Isn't there a simple way to solve this?

Ever since i use Opera (and it's been a long time) this feature never worked for me and I really want to dump Outlook. I've seen the option to add an email signature in Opera Mail & Chat for long. So, if it's there, why doesn't it work? Do i have to add an image manually everytime i want to send an email?

Someone help please?

Thank you and sorry for the dispair bigsmile

Welcome to the My Opera community!

Click on the view button on the mail toolbar, goto display and uncheck "block external elements". Then, go into the account's settings and edit an HTML sig. To add a picture to the sig, use Insert -> Picture. You must then enter a URI to a *remote* image.

Then, you'll get an image in the sig. But, since it's a remote image, everyone you send it to will have to have remote elements unblocked too.

There's currently no way to embed an image's binary data in a message and reference it in the message's sig.

All of these things are known bugs. They just haven't been fixed.

Thank you so much burnout426. It's not a perfect fix but it helps a bit.
I'm always updated to the latest version and most of the times i use the most up to date beta and it's a shame no one fixs this... sad

Thank you for clarifying this for me.

It wont work if you have elements blocked.

In the email screen. view->display->block external elements

An picture in as signature is also an element and is therefore blocked.

Yeah, I see alot of things going on on Beta labs but there's nothing ever related to email. I think Opera could focus a bit on that. It's an imcomplete feature that deserves attention.
