Very frustrated with mini 5 - any advice appreciated
I've been happily using 4.2 for months.Today I made the mistake of clicking the upgrade button.
First problem was the deletion of all my bookmarks.
Then there is no longer a button in Options to let me select "Wifi" - this might be because it's now automatic, but I can't find anywhere that confirms this (admittedly I might be searching badly now that I'm annoyed).
Finally - how do I get rid of the unwanted bookmarks that are pre-loaded on the front screen? QYPE? Mobile apps??
Oh yes, the help menu item is useless, as is the FAQ on here (lots of references to v4.xx).
If anybody reading this can reassure me re: wifi and give me a clue on the annoying bookmarks, I'll be really grateful once I've calmed down!
In the meantime I'm off to find a site with Opera 4.
You can get 4 on http://m.opera.com in other download options.
To edit a speed dial, highlight a dial and press 1.
On a touchscreen,long press on a dial.

I had a similar problem yesterday and posted this but have yet to get any assistance or recomendations
This morning I was enjoying my usage of Opera mini 4.2 which I've been using for over a year now. Then I got a message stating that Opera mini 5 was now available to upgrade click here. I clicked my default browser opened and took took me to the m.opera.com I was able to download it but when I tried to open it said it couldn't access the internet and to check my settings. I tried again and again and even tried to reload 4.2 and that no longer works either. 4.2 tells me to copy a link and put in my computer which basically took me to the Help page. I wish I would never have upgraded now. I hate my default browser its extremely slow compared to my Opera mini. I have a Samsung Behold SGH-T919
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I will be upgrading my phone some time in the near future but for now I'm stuck with this phone.

I also made the mistake of hitting the upgrade button. I couldn't have been more frustrated. It's not very user friendly for BB, IMHO. It seems as if it's tailor made for touch screens. I was really happy with the 4.2 version and downloaded that one again. I hate 5.0!!!
Would you please tell us how to re-download 4.2? Everytime I try to do it on my phone, it takes me back to the main download screen with the different options to downloan v5 and when i downloaded the 4.2 file on my PC to xfer w/ a USB cord, I'm clueless from that point on
