Trackpad scroll issues on a MacBook Pro

I am using version 10.53 of Opera on a brand new 13-inch MacBook Pro and see that the two-finger scroll on webpages (to go up or down a page) is a little too sensitive.

I find it very annoying as one has to be very very careful with the two-finger swipe to not scroll too much, and even then the speed with which it scrolls is a little jarring on the eye.

On the other hand, Safari (of course) and even Firefox scroll very nicely and by about the same amount.

I tried tweaking the Scrolling Speed setting on the Trackpad System Preference but it didn't seem to make any/much difference. I have a suspicion Opera is not even checking/respecting the user preference here.

Please fix this. Also, make sure the user setting of Scrolling Speed is respected.

Thanks!

There have been plenty of other forum threads about this. If you look around, you will see that there is already a test version available were this have been fixed.
